Hemsedal 11.-12. 3. 2017

On a sunny morning close to Hemsedal.

Starting a ski trip from Mørkedalen.

Over frozen Mørkedøla to the other side of the valley.

Above forest line and Mørkedalen.

More gentle terrain above the tree line. Appropriate for considerable avalanche danger.

Many other skiers seem to agree.

A fall resulted in injured leg.

Chris is making a snow stability test while we were waiting for a snowmobile rescue.

Snowmobile didn't manage to reach us so they sent a helicopter.
