Beginning of the field work in northern Norway close to the highest Finnish mountain Ráisduattarháldi. Back in the clouds.
Guolasjavri lake close to which we read out a permafrost borehole logger.
Patterned ground with cobbles and boulders.
Reading out another borehole close to Lavkavari next day.
A deflation hollow.
Flying to Gamajunni Mountain the same day.
Holding tight to a fishing rod.
Leaving us on the top of the Gamajunni Mountain that is flat.
This part of the mountain which is moving downslope is the reason for doing field work here.
Reading out rockwall loggers.
Bernd is happy with the caught logger data.
Reading out another one during a shower.

Áhkavátgáisi Mointain on the other side of the Manndalen.
This landslide is moving several centimeters downslope. It is being constantly monitored and alarm will go off if it starts to move faster.
Leaving Ben to overnight on the mountain.
Waiting for the heli.
The unstable slope again.
Flying over Áhkavátgáisi rockwalls.
